Sections The Göteborg Book Fair
Göteborg Book Fair offers many different themed sections with exhibitors interested in the same subject or theme. The exhibitors often create inspiring stage programmes together around this theme.
The Childrens' Square
The Childrens's Square in Hall A offers activities and programmes at the Teddy Bear Stage every day. During the trade days these programmes will primarily be of interest to professionals working with children and children's culture. During the public days the programmes are for children and their parents.
Food and Gardens
Meet the leading food and gardening writers and personalities, including famous chefs, on two lively stages: Chef Stage and Garden Stage, in the Food and Gardens section. Welcome to F Hall, level 2.
The Graphic Square - Popular Communication
The meeting place for everyone who works with information and communication. This is the place to find exhibitors offering products and services, as well as free short talks by well known communications professionals. You can also take a closer look at a selection of trade journals about information and communication. Stand number G01:08, level 2.
Health and Lifestyle
Health and Lifestyle is a section at the Book Fair including a stage. Health and Lifestyle inspires physical and spiritual wellbeing in many different ways. The stage is in Hall F, level 2, and has programmes on Saturday and Sunday.
The International Square
The International Square, in Hall F, level 2, is a network with more than 50 organizations, publishers and authorities who work in different ways with development issues, human rights issues and education on international topics in Sweden. The network's aim is to offer a collective meeting place for global development issues. There are two stages - the Big Stage and the Small Stage.
Library
In Hall E, level 1, the theme is libraries and library systems. The Library Stage located here offers programmes on Thursday and Friday.
The Research Square
The Swedish Research Council, Swedish Educational Broadcasting Company (UR) and the National Encyclopedia, together with universities, foundations, museums, local authorities, organizations, book publishers and Göteborg Book Fair, are hosts of this programme which makes research topics accessible to the public at the Book Fair. At the Research Square there is a stage with a comprehensive programme every day, as well as exhibitors. Stand number B05:72, level 1.
Behold Man
Cultural, media and life issues within the Church of Sweden. The full programme is published in the Behold Man brochure available in print at the Book Fair's entrances. They can also be downloaded at www.kultursamverkan.se Stand number H06:01, Hall H, level 2.
Africa in Focus 2010
Stands, seminars and stage programmes. The Göteborg Book Fair 2010 will focus on Africa and African literature.
