Liffner – the first winner of a new literary prize
The Swedish Academy awarded newly established Ole and Ann-Marie Söderströms prize carrying 80 000 SEK to author Eva-Marie Liffner. Lately, she has been popular with her "Lacrimosa" novel since its nomination for this year's August Prize.
In 2001, the author from Göteborg made a debut with her novel "Camera", which won her Poloni and Flintyxan prizes. The same year, the author presented the book at the Göteborg Book Fair.
Besides this year's nomination, Eva-Marie's "Imago", her second novel, was also nominated for the August Prize in 2003.
Apart from 2001, 2002 and 2003, the author participated at Göteborg Book Fair 2011, where she spoke about her winning novel "Lacrimosa".
